Easy Beginner Exercises at Home
Start with approachable movements that need little space and no complicated equipment.
A beginner routine can include marching in place, chair sit-to-stands, wall push-ups, and gentle mobility movements. Begin with a few minutes of easy movement to warm up, and move slowly enough to maintain control.
Choose a small number of exercises and take breaks whenever needed. As the movements become comfortable, you can gradually add repetitions or time. You do not need to feel exhausted for a session to be useful.
Stop if you experience chest pain, faintness, or unusual shortness of breath, and seek appropriate medical advice. Adapt exercises to your abilities and any guidance you have received.
